Our founder, Shri Suryaprakash Gupta, completed his education in Kolkata before studying Natural Science at Banaras Hindu University in Varanasi. He began his entrepreneurial journey with a small scrap business in Kolkata, where he was fascinated by the abundance of spices in the region and saw an opportunity to create his own brand, given the limited availability of quality brands in the market at the time. In 1974, he started packaging tea and whole spices, and eventually moved back to his hometown of Budaun, Uttar Pradesh, to establish a manufacturing firm for a diverse range of spices. Under his leadership, the company quickly gained a reputation as one of the most trusted brands in the industry, with his future generations continuing the legacy and transforming it into one of India's premier spice brands. Today, his son Mr. Manish Anand leads the company and is committed to fulfilling his father's vision for the business.
