How to prepare
To prepare Palak Paneer, start by rinsing the spinach leaves thoroughly with water and blanching them in boiling water for 2-3 minutes. Drain the water and allow the spinach to cool down. Then, blend the spinach to a smooth puree and keep it aside. Next, heat oil in a pan on medium heat and add cumin seeds, letting them splutter. Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown. Then, add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute. Add chopped tomatoes and green chilies, mixing well and cooking until the tomatoes are soft and mushy. Then, add coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add the spinach puree and mix well, cooking for 3-4 minutes on medium heat. Then, add the cubed paneer and cook for 2-3 minutes. If desired, add cream and mix well. Finally, garnish with some cream and serve hot with naan, roti, or rice. Your Palak Paneer is now ready to be served. Enjoy!
